Exchange / Return Policy

Exchanges (if applicable)

If you need to exchange an item for a different item or size send us an email at info@hooeyhats.com with the subject line "Exchange Request" 

 

To be eligible to exchange an item:

  • Customer should contact HooeyHats.com within 15 days of purchase
  • Customer should provide HooeyHats.com with web order number
  • the item must be in its original, unaltered, new condition with all of the tags, stickers and decals still in place  
  • Final Sale / Clearance items are excluded.

 

Once HooeyHats.com is notified of a Exchange Request, we will issue an Exchange Authorization Number (EA#____) and customer is responsible for shipping the product to:

When your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item, along with a tracking number for the shipment of your replacement piece.  Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Returns

We hope you love the products you purchase from us, but in the event that there is an issue that requires a return, please inform us as soon as possible.

To be eligible for a return and refund:

If you are issued a return label through us, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Non-returnable items: 
Gift cards

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.   Funds are immediately released from HooeyHats.com, but may take a few business days for the customers banking institution to post.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@hooeyhats.com with the subject "Missing Refund".


Gifts 
If the item was given to you as a gift, HooeyHats.com will be happy to

  • exchange the product for an equal value product, where each party pays shipping to the other party
  • exchange the product for a greater value product, where customer pays difference and each party pays shipping to the other party
  • upon return of the product to HooeyHats.com, issue and email a gift card for later use on HooeyHats.com,
  • upon return of the product to HooeyHats.com, issue a refund for product value to the original purchaser.

 

Defective Products

We will do our best to replace the product. You must contact us within 3 days of receiving your DEFECTIVE item. In the case that the product can not be replaced, we will refund your money.
